a) relate an underlined error to an answer on a parallel line

a) The teacher returns students’ test papers. She gets them to check their scores for each section should there be any errors in their marks.
b) Then, she draws their attention to the first question in the test paper, which is error identification. She explains why they made a lot of mistakes for this question. She also shows how to choose the best answer and to fill in the space given with the correct answer.
c) Before the lesson ends, the teacher reminds the students to bring their test paper again for a revision on graphic organizer and comprehension questions.

INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURES
a) The teacher continues the revision of the test paper in the class. The students are asked to answer the questions on the poem, “Mr. Nobody” before the teacher reads out the correct answers.
b) She writes down the answers on the board for the students to take down.
c) Next, she moves on to explaining the marking scheme for Question 6 which is on the recount. The students are informed of the criteria for awarding band A or marks in the range of 25 to 30. Then, the teacher explains what the things that are needed for the essay. After that, she gives them a sample recount for the question.
d) Before the lesson ends, she reminds the students to bring their Literature booklets for a lesson on the last poem, “The River”.
