in future messages.
c)
Then, she asks them to give her examples of sentences in the Malay language
which intend to invite a friend to take part in a competition. She listens to
their suggestions and shows how to translate such sentences on the board.
d)
Next, she teaches them how to scan for ideas in the reading text and to
transfer them to their message. She also shows them how to rewrite those
ideas into simpler sentences that the students can write on their own.
e)
She also gets them to end the short message using sentences that the teacher
has taught in the past. She writes down their suggestions and makes suitable
modifications for the message.
f)
Before the class ends, the teacher gets the students to take down this sample
